Yango Pakistan has officially launched the 'Baikhtiyar Pakistan' initiative in partnership with NowPDP, aimed at empowering persons with disabilities by providing them with earning opportunities through the ride-hailing platform. The program was inaugurated on February 19, 2026, at the NowPDP Centre of Excellence for Disability Inclusion in Karachi, with the distribution of five retro-fitted rickshaws to selected beneficiaries. The launch ceremony was attended by the Provincial Minister of Sindh for Labour and Information and Human Resources, Mr. Saeed Ghani, who emphasized the significance of such initiatives in promoting inclusivity. Miral Sharif, the Country Head at Yango Pakistan, stated, "Disability should never become an obstacle between will and opportunity. A person with a disability is no less capable than any other individual." This initiative is part of Yango Group's broader commitment to economic empowerment and digital inclusion across its markets.
