In a recent aviation incident, a Star Sky Airlines passenger plane experienced a technical malfunction shortly after takeoff from Mogadishu, Somalia, leading to an emergency landing attempt at Aden Adde International Airport. According to Hum News, the plane veered off the runway and crashed into the sea. Remarkably, all 55 passengers and crew members survived, thanks to the pilot's "quick decision-making and skill," as noted by airline officials. Eyewitnesses reported seeing one of the plane's wings break and passengers jumping into the water near Jazeera Beach. Rescue teams arrived promptly, ensuring the safe evacuation of everyone on board. The Somali Civil Aviation Authority has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the malfunction. Despite the initial closure of the airport, operations have now resumed normally.
