This commitment was highlighted during the Graduation Ceremony 2024-25 for Persons with Disabilities, organized by the Network of Organizations Working for People with Disabilities, Pakistan (NOWPDP) in Korangi. The event celebrated the achievements of graduates from the Hunarmand Programme, a collaborative effort between the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD) and NOWPDP, financially supported by DEPD. Shah noted that the program aims to enable persons with disabilities to 'live independent and dignified lives,' with over 65,000 individuals benefiting from the government's support.
