Nestlé Pakistan has been awarded the Climate Champion Award for the second consecutive year at the 4th Pakistan Climate Conference, an event organized by the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI). This recognition comes as a result of Nestlé's initiatives in Climate & Net Zero, regenerative agriculture, and circularity. The conference, which saw over 80 entries, highlighted the role of the private sector in driving sustainable solutions. Dr. Musadik Malik, Federal Minister for Climate Change, emphasized the importance of mobilizing investment and supporting young innovators to accelerate Pakistan's transition towards climate-resilient development. He stated, 'We need to place bets on these young, starry-eyed people because they are the future of Pakistan, and they will lead us out of these climate challenges' (Trade Chronicle).
