Telenor Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone by completing the world's largest one-go migration of 90 million customers to a next-generation Charging and Billing System (CBS), as reported by Business Recorder, TechJuice, and ProPakistani. This migration includes both prepaid and postpaid users and is hosted on a private cloud, offering enhanced service resilience, geo-redundancy, and high scalability. The new system is designed to support a rapidly expanding digital ecosystem, enabling the development of next-generation digital services, faster time-to-market, and seamless digital integration through more than 100 APIs. Awais Vohra, CEO of Telenor Pakistan, emphasized the importance of this migration, stating it is a 'pivotal step' in the company's digital transformation efforts.
