On February 17, 2026, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the state-of-the-art Secretariat Complex of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) in Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone in the province's commitment to merit-based recruitment and digital governance. The complex, constructed at a cost of Rs2.493 billion, features modern facilities such as a digital library, a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) lab, and an auditorium, aimed at enhancing operational independence and efficiency. Shah emphasized the importance of a transparent examination system, stating, "Competent and capable youth are the bright future of Sindh," and reiterated that the government's focus on digital transformation is crucial for better governance. Since July 2022, the SPSC has recommended 21,504 appointments across various sectors, including 8,666 in education and 7,357 in health, showcasing the commission's role in strengthening public service delivery.
