Sindh Government'S Rs. 33.7 Billion Firefighting Upgrade Plan

In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured full cooperation from the federal government for the timely completion of infrastructure development projects in Sindh, including the much-needed Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway (SHM). Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah emphasized the urgency of these projects, highlighting the deteriorating condition of major roads in the province, which PPP Senator Waqar Mehdi attributed to federal negligence. The Prime Minister underscored the importance of collaboration among coalition partners, stating, "Strong coordination between the federation and provinces will strengthen the democratic system and help address public issues effectively." This meeting comes amidst ongoing efforts by the Sindh government to enhance economic stability and public safety, including a Rs. 33.7 billion plan to upgrade firefighting infrastructure and support for women farmers through a comprehensive database initiative.
