Service Long March Tyres Limited (SLM) has officially announced an $80 million investment to establish a new Passenger Car Radial (PCR) tyre manufacturing facility in Nooriabad, Sindh, marking its entry into Pakistan’s automotive components sector. This significant decision, disclosed on February 16, 2026, through a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), aims to enhance production capabilities for both domestic and export markets. The facility will produce passenger car radial tyres, reinforcing SLM's strategic move to expand its footprint in the tyre segment and strengthen its presence in regional and international markets. As noted in the announcement, 'The Board of Directors of Service Long March Tyres Limited has approved the establishment of a Passenger Car Radial tyre manufacturing project in Pakistan at SLM’s existing location in Nooriabad, Sindh,' according to Profit by Pakistan Today and TechJuice.
