The town of Sehwan is currently experiencing a significant influx of pilgrims as it prepares for the 774th Urs of the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. According to Tribune Latest, the event is expected to draw more than three million devotees from across Pakistan, transforming Sehwan into a 'sea of light, devotion and spiritual fervour.' The shrine of Hazrat Syed Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Muhammad Usman has been adorned with decorative lights and digital displays, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere. The Urs will officially commence on February 7, with Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurating the event. To ensure the safety of the attendees, extensive security measures have been implemented, including the deployment of around 5,000 police personnel, 300 Rangers, and 100 Pakistan Army soldiers.
