In a significant development, the Punjab government has successfully cleared the Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan areas of outlaws, marking a 100% success rate in the operation. According to Hum News, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that 'Rajanpur and the kacha area have been completely cleared of dacoits,' with 42 outlaws surrendering in Rajanpur and 200 in Rahim Yar Khan. This operation, described as unprecedented, saw over 500 criminals, including high-profile gang leaders, surrender without bloodshed. The operation also led to the recovery of heavy weaponry, including rocket launchers and machine guns. Maryam Nawaz highlighted that 'for the first time, more than 500 criminal elements laid down arms before the state without any bloodshed.'
