Pakistan Telecom Sector Revenue Surpasses Rs. 1 Trillion In Growth

In a significant development for Pakistan's telecom sector, the latest data indicates that the industry has crossed Rs. 1 trillion in revenues, marking a substantial growth trajectory. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) reported that the total revenues reached Rs. 1,075 billion, reflecting a 31.6% increase. This growth is attributed to a surge in mobile subscribers, which now total 197.8 million, and a notable rise in 4G users from 111.9 million to 141.4 million, a 26.4% increase.
