Pakistan Foreign Office Warns About India-Israel Defense Partnership

The recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Israel has intensified tensions between Pakistan and India, particularly concerning their defense relations. During his visit, Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed significant defense agreements estimated to be worth between $8 to $10 billion, which include advanced missile defense systems like the Iron Dome and Arrow. Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi expressed deep concerns, stating, "We remain seized of the defense ties between Israel and India, including systems and platforms used by India against Pakistan," and emphasized that Pakistan is "alive to the threat that they pose to our security and our sovereignty." This visit has prompted Pakistan's parliament to pass a resolution condemning the India-Israel alliance, highlighting the perceived threat to regional stability.
