The latest development in the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye is the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing agricultural collaboration. As reported by The Nation Business, these agreements were facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and involve Türkiye’s Agricultural Technologies Cluster (TÜME) and Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) along with the Green Corporate Livestock Initiative (GCLI). The agreements focus on modernizing agriculture and livestock sectors through the adoption of advanced technologies. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasized the potential of both nations to play a significant role in the global food value chain, stating, 'Modern technology and comprehensive planning are crucial to fully utilize our agricultural potential.'
