Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the 'Maryam Ko Batain Helpline 1000' program, which will provide immediate financial assistance of 10,000 Pakistani Rupees to needy families starting from the first day of Ramadan. This initiative aims to support those facing financial hardships during the current economic crisis. Individuals can register for assistance through three methods: by calling the helpline at 1000, downloading the 'Maryam Ko Btayen' mobile app, or visiting the Punjab government's official web portal. The program promises a modern digital system for transparency and a commitment to disbursing funds within 24 hours of verification. Nawaz stated, 'ہر ضرورت مند کے لئے حکومتی وسائل تک رسائی یقینی بنائی جائے گی' (access to government resources will be ensured for every needy person). Notably, the program is exclusive to residents of Punjab who are not already enrolled in other government assistance programs like the Benazir Income Support Program.
