The Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has launched the 'Apna Khait, Apna Rozgar' initiative, a significant step towards empowering underprivileged communities by providing them with sustainable livelihoods. This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster inclusive development across Punjab. Maryam Nawaz emphasized that 'no district would be neglected' and highlighted the provincial government's commitment to balanced development. Additionally, the scheme includes the issuance of 'Kisan Cards' to farmers, enabling them to purchase necessary agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds, as noted by Business Recorder.
