Recent developments in water management and digital governance in Pakistan highlight significant advancements in both agricultural productivity and urban utility management. According to Business Recorder, a meeting chaired by Minister for Agriculture Punjab, Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani, in Lahore, focused on the progress of water management projects. The briefing revealed that 181 farmer enterprise groups have been established under an efficient water use program, with modern machinery provided at a 70% subsidy to enhance agricultural productivity and farmers' income. Kirmani emphasized the need for timely completion of these initiatives, underscoring the government's commitment to improving water management for agricultural development.
