According to Daily Qudrat, the administration has decided that 'بغیر رجسٹریشن ٹیکسی اور بائیکیا چلانے والے افراد کے خلاف کارروائی کی جائے گی' (action will be taken against those operating without registration). This initiative, starting from February 10, 2026, aims to gather comprehensive data on all drivers and vehicles, which will be accessible to the Islamabad police, as reported by Pakistan News Index. The registration process will be digitally automated, and drivers will be required to upload passenger details through an app, ensuring that no ride is given without entering the passenger's ID card number.
