The first incident occurred in Khuzdar district, where armed assailants abducted nine workers from a private construction site working on a water channel project. Senior Superintendent of Police Khuzdar, Shahzad Umar Abbas, reported that the attackers stormed the site late Saturday night, forcibly taking the workers, including project manager Gul Sher, to an undisclosed location. The second incident took place in Barkhan district, where five workers were abducted from a crushing plant operated by Zarghun Construction Company. The attackers not only kidnapped the workers but also opened fire on the plant and targeted a nearby police post, seizing weapons from three officers present at the scene.
