The Islamabad Model Jail project, which had been delayed for nearly 15 years, is now nearing completion with over 85% of Phase One finished, as reported by ProPakistani and SAMAA TV. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during his visit to the site, expressed satisfaction with the progress and emphasized the urgent need for this facility due to the prevailing security situation in the federal capital. Naqvi highlighted that the modern infrastructure would enhance police training and improve law enforcement capabilities. According to SAMAA TV, the jail is expected to become operational within the next two months, marking a significant development in Islamabad's law enforcement infrastructure.
