Federal And Provincial Governments Agree On National Stability Strategy

Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry emphasized the importance of this coordinated approach, stating, "Protection of citizens’ lives and property is the state’s top priority." The meeting, which included key officials such as the Inspector General of Police and provincial home secretaries, also addressed the need for adequate resources and technical support to combat terrorism effectively. Chaudhry highlighted the dire situation in 2025, which he described as the worst year for terror incidents in Pakistan, and asserted that "enough was enough" regarding the ongoing violence. He noted that many of the attackers had received training in Afghanistan, calling for Kabul to take action against these groups operating from its territory.
