The police dismissed 131 cases, while charge sheets were submitted in 344 cases, and 154 were sent to prosecutors with incomplete documentation. This pattern of delays and dismissals highlights a significant gap in the prosecution and investigation processes, as many cases remain pending or unresolved. The situation has not improved in 2026, with 57 new cases reported in January alone, involving 76 suspects, further indicating a continuing crisis in child protection in the region.
