The 129th birth anniversary of Dr. Zakir Husain, India's third President and a prominent educationalist, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Jamia Millia Islamia's Faculty of Engineering and Technology Auditorium. According to Qaumi Awaz Stories, the event was organized by the Jamia National Foundation in collaboration with the university. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mazhar Asif, delivered the inaugural memorial lecture, highlighting Dr. Husain's contributions to education and the nation. He quoted the Quran, emphasizing the importance of good deeds, and emotionally paid tribute to Dr. Husain's legacy. Salman Khurshid, Dr. Husain's grandson, remarked, 'Zakir Sahib's greatest virtue was being a teacher and a human being.'
