Beechcraft Air Ambulance Crash In Jharkhand With Seven Onboard

On February 23, 2026, a tragic incident occurred when a Beechcraft C90 air ambulance operated by Redbird Airways Pvt Ltd crashed in Jharkhand, India, resulting in the deaths of all seven individuals on board, including two crew members. The aircraft, identified as VT-AJV, was en route from Ranchi to Delhi when it went down near Simaria in the Chatra district. According to local authorities, the bodies of the victims, which included Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat, Captain Savrajdeep Singh, and several others, have been successfully retrieved and identified. SDPO Shubham Khandelwal confirmed the fatalities, stating, "All seven persons on board have been retrieved and identified."
