Bannu Police Thwart Major Terrorist Attack, Killing Six Terrorists

The attack occurred around 1:20 AM when a large group of heavily armed terrorists targeted the police post. Police personnel, under the leadership of District Police Officer Yasir Afridi, engaged in a sustained exchange of fire, which lasted until morning. During this confrontation, one terrorist was killed, and five others were reported injured, with blood traces indicating additional casualties among the attackers. The police recovered various items from the scene, including weapons and equipment, while Constable Fareedullah sustained minor injuries but was reported to be out of danger.
