In a significant move to facilitate Hajj pilgrims, the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Pakistan has directed all relevant bank branches to assist in completing the Saudi visa biometrics process. As reported by Daily Times, this decision was made during a meeting chaired by Secretary of Religious Affairs Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chohan, who emphasized the importance of completing the biometric process by the deadline of February 17, 2026. Dunya News highlighted that Tashir Centers will operate from 9 am to 5 pm to accommodate pilgrims, and biometric assistance desks will be set up in various directorates to ensure a smooth process. Additionally, the Pak Hajj App will be used to raise awareness about the biometrics requirement. The Ministry has made it clear that obtaining a Hajj visa without completing the biometrics is not possible.
