In a significant development in the tragic murder of Dr. Mehwish Hasnain, police have arrested two suspects, Saif Ali and Hayat Gul, four days after the incident. The arrests were confirmed by Khaleeq Ur Rehman, the provincial health minister, who stated that both individuals are in police custody and will face exemplary punishment. The shooting occurred after Dr. Hasnain asked a patient's attendant to wait outside the female ward, leading to a brief altercation that escalated when the attendant followed her and opened fire as she was leaving work.
