Afghanistan Hosting Sri Lanka For White-Ball Series In Uae

In a significant development for Afghan cricket, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced a historic white-ball series against Sri Lanka, scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from March 13 to 25, 2026. This series will consist of three T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals, marking the first time Afghanistan has hosted Sri Lanka in a bilateral series. ACB CEO Naseeb Khan expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are delighted to host Sri Lanka for the first time in our history. This event reflects the strength of our collaboration with the Sri Lanka Cricket Board," emphasizing the importance of this series for both teams.
