In a significant development, the Pakistani National Assembly has been presented with a report detailing the deportation of over 38,000 Pakistanis from Gulf countries in 2025. According to Hum News, the majority of these deportations were from Saudi Arabia, which accounted for 27,692 individuals. The United Arab Emirates followed with 6,794 deportations, while Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait deported 2,537, 786, 644, and 163 Pakistanis respectively. The report highlighted various reasons for deportation, including illegal entry, visa violations, and criminal activities. Notably, 780 Pakistanis were deported for begging, with 767 of these cases originating from Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, 1,025 individuals faced deportation due to drug-related charges, and 109 for theft.
